    Abstract

    It reviews the diagnostic criteria for autism and common characteristics associated with ASD, including differences in social communication, restricted or repetitive behaviors, and sensory processing. The variability of how autism presents across individuals will be emphasized. 

    The presentation concludes with a clear distinction between the roles and responsibilities of BCBAs and RBTs, highlighting supervision, scope of practice, and collaboration in providing ethical and effective services.
