Sam’s position at APPRECOTS is a research associate specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other behavioral support services. Sam enjoys thorough literature review and ongoing learning to maintain high quality, evidence-based supports and practices. Sam’s area of expertise
includes working alongside children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Sam’s role at APPRECOTS encompasses thorough literature review, ABA peer-review processes and supporting high quality services to support medical necessity of care. Sam earned her master’s in psychology with a concentration in ABA through Purdue University Global and her BS in Psychology through Central Michigan University. When not working, Sam enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dog Harper and running.
In 2023, Sam moved to Michigan where she worked for a local ABA-clinic where she developed a large passion for supporting the quality of ABA services and the want to address the needs within Saginaw County, MI.
When Sam is not working, she loves to garden, read fantasy or mystery novels, run, play frisbee with her dog, Harper, and cook delicious meals/treats and spend time with her family.
